Binance's Q2 Futures Trading Volume Increased By 68%

Crypto exchange Binance's futures trading volume increased 68% in Q2 this year compared to Q1. In terms of a dollar figure, the volume stood at $263 billion in Q2 versus $157 billion in Q1. Also, Binance today completed the twelfth quarterly burn of its native token Binance Coin (BNB ) — its largest-ever burn. That removed around $60.50 million worth of BNB from circulation. Abra Building Banking Solutions on Stellar Blockchain

Abra, the company behind the global crypto and fiat wallet and exchange app of the same name, plans to give the world banking services underpinned by Stellar's blockchain. During the Stellar Development Foundation's digital second quarter review meeting on July 15, Abra CEO Bill Barhydt mentioned Abra's focus on upcoming banking-type features the company is building out. Pompliano Urges People To Protect Your Wealth In Bitcoin

Describing the current economic state, including pending inflation, U.S. government's money printing, Anthony Pompliano noted exiting cash into other assets as the key to wealth. Pomliano said in his latest livestream, the whole secret to building wealth is to get out of cash and get into assets like bitcoin that are denominated in dollars and continues to go up in value over long periods of time. Former Finance Secretary Of India Purposes For Regulating Crypto As Commodity

Subhash Chandra Garg, former Finance and Economic Affairs Secretary of India, has told the Indian crypto community that crypto assets should be regulated as commodities during a webinar entitled “Cryptocurrency in India: What the future holds”. Garg said the value of crypto assets “lies in the eye of the beholder”. He added, if someone wants to value code which is in the form of a crypto asset and wants to invest in it, it can do in that form, in that way crypto asset is a commodity not a currency. Ethereum Transactions Are Now Nearing All-Time High

Data shows that Ethereum transactions are close to 2018 levels. As a result, GAS prices have gone up, and are now at record highs. Current transaction activity 1.1-1.2 million/month which is nearly 1.3 million/day seen in January 2018. DeFi and projects such as Balancer, Aave, Compound and Synthetix have gained both fan following and media interest in 2020 and their rise in popularity is synchronised with a surge in Ethereum transactions. Mercedes-Benz Parent Company Will Use Blockchain

Mercedes-Benz’ manufacturer Daimler AG has partnered with a decentralized data exchange, Ocean Protocol to use blockchain technology to privately collect and package data for monetization. The pilot will demonstrate Ocean Protocol’s recently launched "Compute-to-Data" protocol to protect the privacy of Daimler’s data while allowing the information to be analyzed and aggregated by third parties. Bitcoin(BTC) Wallet Has Hit New All-Time Highs

Data shared by Glassnode stated that the amount of BTC addresses that contain more than 0.1 BTC has surged to an ATH of 3,129,868 compared to the previous ATH of 3,128,826 reached earlier today. The number of non-zero BTC wallets has reached 30,435,872 also hit a new ATH, as compared from previous ATH of 30,428,607 wallets.
