I don't care what he says, I'm calling him a hero. And he is not correct about everyone being able to do that, statistically unarmed people only stop 13% of active shooters. On the other hand armed citizens stop over 3% of active shooter incidents, which does not sound like much unless you consider that less than one percent of people actually carry, and they are forbidden from carrying in the places often targeted by active shooters.

Not to mention the fact that according to government statistics:

A fifth of the victims defending themselves with a firearm suffered an injury, compared to almost half of those who defended themselves with weapons other than a firearm or who had no weapon
