Achieves 6 Super Series Title, Kevin/Marcus ran out of Words

Fuzhou-Indonesia men's doubles, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, incised an outstanding accomplishment in 2017. 1 world ranking pairs seven times enter the final tournament level super series and won five championships.

Kevin/Marcus opened this year with the capture of three consecutive titles at the All England (7-12 March), India open (March 28-April 2), and the Malaysia open (4-9 APR). After that, Kevin/Marcus win Japan Open (19-24 September) and the latest China Open (November 14-19).

Kevin/Marcus also entered the finals on two other super series tournaments, namely Korea open (12-17 September) and Denmark open (17-22 October). However, on two of the event, Kevin/Marcus had to settle for being the runner-up.

Kevin pleaded not thought they could take note of the achievements so remarkable this year. He even kehaisan the word to express happiness.

"I still do not believe it can get to the finals of the super series to seven times this year. It feels very happy. I am unable to say anything, "said Kevin as quoted from the official website of BPS, Sunday (19/11/2017).

Even though it has collected five super series titles this year, Marcus refused to jemawa. He said they would keep trying to reach for the best results on two super series tournaments left this year, namely the Hong Kong open (21-26 November) and Dubai Superseries Final (13-17 December).

"We do not think that can achieve this. We are certainly very pleased. However, we don't want complacency because there are still two more super series tournaments this year. We will always try to give my best, "said Marcus.

So far, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon is the player with the most super series title in 2017. The player doubles specialist's daughter China, Huang Yaqiong, also collected five titles, but from two numbers, namely the mixed doubles and women's doubles, with three different couples. He won four mixed doubles title with Lu Kai (3rd degree) and Zheng Siwei (1) as well as one women's doubles together with Yu Xiaohan.
