I was able to get off of all my medications as a result choosing a vegan diet. Having cut out one poison and cutting out most of the processed foods I used to eat, why would I dare touch such a dangerous thing?
While it is convenient to be able to eat meat for a short time when other foods are scarce, it is is not part of our natural diet. Our teeth prove it and our whole digestive system proves it. True meat-eating animals have much shorter digestive tracts than herbivores.
So to eat a thing that is a "fake" of something I am not designed to eat seems just plain silly.
