Tips-Get Away From Big Tech!

So in light of everything going on with Google's company and its invasive ways I put together a list of programs to use instead of these and ways to browse faster and safer!

BROWSERS:

  1. Brave Browser
    https://brave.com/

This browser is an awesome alternative to chrome as it uses an open source browser made by the guy who made Javascript and Firefox and whats nice it how it handles ads. So it has a built in slick ad blocking but on top of that is using crypto payments towards sites you enjoy you can pay for the time you use and its a brilliant idea. Before the makers were losing customers/money over ads people annoying block as it slows down speeds etc but this is an approved way of doing it and it looks really cool.

  2. Pale Moon
    https://www.palemoon.org/

This here is a very nice and simple alternative to Firefox and I use this one along with Brave.

EXTENSIONS:

  1. Privacy Badger
    https://www.eff.org/privacybadger

This here use with a ad block to block certain trackers like Facebook etc

  2. Ublock origin
    https://www.ublock.org/

    Great ad blocker to use

  3. Noiszy
    https://noiszy.com/

this uses misleading tracks towards sites and confuses sites like Facebook

  4. No Script
    https://noscript.net/

If you want to truly rid of things going on you should use this though it can break some sites if you dont allow some scripts.

  5. Ghostery
    https://www.ghostery.com/

Works like an ad blocker with some nice additives with it

SEARCH ENGINES:

  1. Qwant
    https://www.qwant.com/

  2. DuckDuckGo
    https://duckduckgo.com

  3. ixquick
    https://www.ixquick.com/

Hope you guys like this quick list!!

I started running pale moon with noscript and using duckduckgo well worth the time to setup.

Its a nice setup to have though with noscript there may be a couple sites you couldnt use so its truly up to preference which extensions to use.
