EU seeks sanctions against Myanmar army

Myanmar's foreign ministers have urged EU officials to ban the Rohingya Muslims for their killing and torture.

They called on from a meeting in Brussels (February 26) in Brussels. During this time, they said that the Myanmar army has planned human rights violations.

The EU foreign ministers said in a statement that strict action should be taken against the army officers involved in the violation of the violent and strategic human rights violations against Myanmar Rohingya.

In the EU meeting, the foreign ministers gave the opinion of strengthening the sanctions imposed on Myanmar in the 1990s. The ban is still in force. However, the details of what steps will be taken to further strengthen the ban.

Earlier, the United Nations Human Rights Commission referred to the 'textual example' of racial violence against the Rohingya.
