HDFC Bank raises interest rates on deposits by 0.50%

Deposits of less than Rs one crore will get higher interest on deposits. On one year FD, 7.25% will be charged instead of 7.3%. Bank of Baroda raised interest rates on loans upto 0.10%

new Delhi. HDFC Bank has increased interest rates on deposits up to 0.50%. This increase on deposits of less than one crore has been implemented since Tuesday. The bank increased the interest rate from 6% to 6.5% on deposits of 5 to 8 and 8 to 10 years. Meanwhile, Bank of Baroda has hiked interest rates on loans by 0.10%.
