Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has tapped Brian Hook as the special envoy and head of the Iran Action Group, which is intended to deal with new policy since the Iran Nuclear Deal was struck down. Mr. Hook is an American lawyer and government official. In 2017, he served as Director of Policy Planning and Senior Policy Advisor to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
