Prepping has absolutely NOTHING to do with tin foil hats...as a matter of fact it is the very lifestyle that has allowed humans to prosper on this planet. It is the ONLY lifestyle that embraces independence, self-reliance, and sustainability...the bullshit lives most Americans are leading is for the tin foil hat types who think the world will NEVER go belly up, while examples of social collapse continue to occur all over the world!

Exactly. This should be how EVERYONE lives. Depending on our fragile food supply and assuming it will continue to work perfectly forever is extremely naive. In the past every house had a garden but unlike today it wasn't filled with useless bushes and flowers that smell pretty, they actually grew food in their yards. All it would take is the truck drivers to go on strike for 3 days and every major city in America would be in complete chaos. We all need to take responsibility for our own food supply but unfortunately I think that is too much to ask of these lazy people in this day and time.
