Israel detained two bodies of Palestinian demonstrators who were killed by their snipers in the Gaza Strip.
The bodies were identified as demonstrators following the "Grat March of Return" in Gaza on Friday (29/3) last week.
The action is also to commemorate 42 years of World Land Day, organized faction of Islam, Communist, and left-wing Gaza to campaign for opening the blockade of Israel against their region.
Israeli army chief Major General Yoav Mordechai confirmed that the army would not return the two bodies to the family.
"These two bodies will not be returned, as long as they do not return the two bodies of our soldiers killed in battle," said Mordechai through his Facebook account quoted Aljazeera on Monday (2/4/2018).
Israel has detained 24 Palestinian bodies since 2014. Dozens of bodies were killed by the Israeli army during the war on aggression in Gaza.
While Hamas, the Palestinian independence struggle faction that controls Gaza, is believed to have detained four Israeli soldiers since 2014.
The four Israeli soldiers were unknown, alive or dead.
While the number of Palestinians killed in action last Friday reached 17 people, including two bodies.
Israeli snipers fired shots into the crowd following a demonstration near the Gaza border gate.
In addition to the death toll, as many as 1400 demonstrators suffered gunshot wounds.
