Seismic Zone Off Alaska Could Trigger Massive Quake and Tsunami…

A so-called seismic zone off the coast of Alaska could trigger deadly tsunamis like the one that caused the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan in 2011, a new study finds. Identifying other seismic zones — a region high in seismic activity such as tremors and earthquakes — with these features could help researchers identify areas that could produce catastrophic waves, the scientists added.

As of late there have been dozens of earthquakes going on a little bit bigger than normal both in how many and how big they've been.

Many have been happening near the faults that everyone hears about . What could get un-nerving is the solar eclipse do to happen August 21st. As it gets closer there could be a few good sized quakes that take place a day or possibly a few days prior to it take place.
