Half Marathon in Hatirjheel

'Dhaka Huff Marathon 2018' was held in the city's Hatirjheel long-distance race. Half and mini-competition in two separate departments took place from 6 to 9 in the morning. In this, 620 participants from the country and abroad participated.


Mini marathon starts at 15 minutes after the Half Marathon starts at 6am. 50 of the participants were foreign nationals. Two marvelous marathon organizers, Dhaka Run Lords and Thousand Miles Expedition Bangladesh, jointly organized the capital city, Dhaka, which are positively presented to the capital city of Dhaka and encouraged the citizens to live well.


Participants participating in the Half Marathon ran 21.1 km. To reach this route, the entire Hatirjheel area of ​​the Police Concord Plaza had to travel three times three times. To finish the race, the allotted time for the Half Marathon contestants was 3 hours. And the mini marathon racers ran 7 km. They once came to the Hatirjheel area. The allocation for them was 1 hour time.


Abdur Rahman became the first person to be in the category of Half Marathon. He took 1 hour 27 minutes to finish the race. In the category of women category of one division, Sayati Sabur occupied first place. He took 2 hours to 28 minutes.


Meanwhile, Shariful Islam touched the finishing line with the first time in 24th minute 44 seconds in the general category of the mini marathon. Clara de Girolamo, the first foreigner in this category's women category.


At the end of the marathon, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman Akhtaruzzaman Khan handed over the prizes to the winners. He arranged for such a 'clean and beautiful' that he gave to all concerned. The prize distribution was attended by officials of the Marathon Sponsor Organization.
