Holy fucking shit.. Seems magic dice "developer" and owner @zombee has run off with a small fortune from the bankroll of his shitty casino.. I was tipped off that this was happening by STEEM witness @themarkymark by reading an excerpt from one of his recent posts.. I'll share the quote below For everyone to see..

I did a bit of math and my jaw dropped when it was realized that the piece of shit known as @zombee has run off with neaerly a quarter of a million dollars Canadian. Not a small sum of money by any stretch..

Shame on @zombee for running off with other peoples funds. It seems he's moved the funds to Binance.. Hopefully he's done the KYC stuff on that site so we as a community can have him investigated and brought to justice.. Absolutely fucking ridiculious. Always figured something was up as magic dice was using a high house edge and luring players in with shitty hype tokens and dividends.. Not a legit business plan by any means and the hindsight is 20/20 that it was all a ruse to gain access to peoples funds and then pull an exit scam like what has been done.
Stay away from sites with high house edges that lure users in with hype tokens and promises of dividends for gambling... Right from the start the gut instinct was that magic dice was trash and this 100% confirms it.. The site was a clone from an open source script available that was modified to spit out crappy magic tokens..

On a lighter note.. Steem-roller.com is open to gamblers and investors as a replacement to the bullshit magic dice site. I promise my users I'd never run off with your funds like the fucking dickhead known as @zombee.. Not only is that horribly bad business but also will likely attract the attention of law officials.

This is what I am talking about. There should be some type of accountability on these programs launching on the steem blockchain and using the steem blockchain. You shouldn't be able to just run off with thousands of dollars and have no consequences at all otherwise its just going to keep happening, get worse and leave steem at $0.00 value as these scumbags continue to use steem and then dump us. Reading this made me sad. I didn't play much magicdice as I was always suspicious because of a lack of a face behind it. Also I got in too late for the real high value tokens. I wonder if that fellow who is unrelated but made up 70% of the volume is the same guy running it? In that case he got around 70k which is still a ton of money. Hopefully he is from somewhere that authorities deal unkindly with this kind of behavior.

The hype token mining shit for dividends never sat well with me.. Perhaps call me bias as my casino offering is pretty straight up with dividends paid to those investing STEEM and no steem-engine tokens involved at all.
It seems that one or more individuals may have been in cohorts with @zombee but I'm not entirely sure.. Either way it's a damn shame the idiot decided to exit scam.. Bad for business, bad for the community.
I guess in a sense it's good for my business.. Nothing like bad press from "competitors" to make your service look better. All and all I view it as a loss for the community though.. :/
