The Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) announced plans to create its first Blockchain network in partnership with Smart Dubai, with the aim of making judicial processes safer and more effective by incorporating changes within the legal ecosystem.
The institution is directly responsible for overseeing commercial and civil disputes arising in financial transactions, whether domestic or international. To achieve this, one of the Dubai Courts has plans to incorporate Blockchain into its proceedings, with the intention of creating the world's first legal court backed by the use of this technology.

With the massive use of smartphones, teachers' groups are dividing their opinions on the use or carrying of this technology in schools.
While in France the authorities see the ban as "sending a positive message to French society," in the United States the president of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, points out that mobile phones are "an essential safety tool" that can reassure parents during emergencies.
Currently 90% of children aged 12 to 17 in France have access to a smartphone, while in Spain this rises to 93.9%. It is estimated that the overall number of smartphone accesses in this age range is at least 12%.

Georgia's Constitutional Court abolished administrative penalties for marijuana use, making it the first country in the Caucasus to decriminalize the use of the plant.
The High Court ruling announced on 30 July relates only to the use of the cannabis plant, while cultivation and sale remain a crime. The court added that punishing a person for using cannabis would comply with the constitution only if the use puts a third party at risk.
