The last few years, but especially the last one, have seen many moves of Turkey towards an autocratic leadership. Especially after the alleged coup last year president Erdogan kicked scores of his critics out of any public occupation - professors, journalists, soldiers.
Now Erdogan has removed the current leaders of land, sea and air forces and replaced them. How much are you willing to bet that those he placed there are his cronies?
As every good dictator knows, the people helping you into power are not the same as the people you need to hold power. That is why revolutionaries so often kill their fellow revoluzzers a short time after the win.
After all those people have already shown they can successfully remove a leader...
But how to interpret this move? Is it a finishing move of getting rid of every adversary in the military? Or is it a sign of an ongoing power struggle? I am not that deep into turkey to answer that, but it definitely is an interesting move of Erdogan.
tnx for the news, it's beeing weeks didn't read about Turkey, this is very informative :)

Is that irony?
I just mean because of the US being the world record holder in toppling democratically elected governments. Especially if they have oil.
