it should be the first time in the last ten years that maneuvers of this type have mobilized three aircraft carriers.
"This is a sensible exercise to reinforce the deterrence against North Korea's nuclear threats, and to demonstrate our ability to repel any provocative action on the part of North Korea," said a spokesman for the ministry.
