Then there's the Trump Administration announcement that it will be blocking Tik Tok and WeChat downloads in the US.
According to Donald Trump's executive order the Tik Tok app cannot be updated or downloaded by new users. And people who already have the app will still be able to use it up until November 12.
Then it will become illegal to host internet traffic associated with Tik Tok.
