Serial Podcast.

Lately I have been addicted to this podcast that I got started on about a month ago, and it has consumed me ever since. It is about this high school kid who went to prison for "murdering" his ex-girlfriend in 1999. The story is interesting because it not only shows the fabrication of the Baltimore Police but also the ineffective ability of his defense Council not doing her job by not reaching out to not 1, but several Alibi witnesses that would probably get him out of handcuffs. After finishing Serial, I continued to look into this case and came upon a similar podcast called "Undisclosed." I highly recommend these podcasts to anyone who is interested in stories like "How to Make a Murderer" on Netflix. I think it just makes me feel like I want to do better in the world so that innocent people don't end up behind bars and the right people are the ones that go to jail. I understand that we are all human and we make mistakes but going to the lengths that some people have just two cover their name can be very scary. I mean you never know. A police officer might walk up to your door and arrest you for a crime that you never committed and somehow twist things in a way that makes you look guilty even though you have Alibi witnesses to testify against it. Yet you still go to trial and you get an attorney that does a poor job of representing you and there's nothing you can do about it. We live in this world where that as possible. And this podcast needs more awareness. Comment down below if you have any other interesting podcasts similar to this subject that I might want to listen to in the future Or if you've listened to this and have similar thoughts.
