Putin Holds Bilateral Meeting With Erdogan in St. Peters Square 8/9/16

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are due to meet in Saint Petersburg on Tuesday, August 9.

This is the first occasion that both leaders will meet since the Turkish air force shot a Russian Su-25 jet last November. The incident led to a cut in the diplomatic relationships between the two countries, including economic sanctions imposed by Russia on Turkey.
