The Latest Rainbow Six Siege Patch Targets Teammate Griefing

in news •  6 years ago

Monday 22nd of July, 2019. Rainbow Six Siege rolled out an anti-griefing feature last month called "reverse friendly fire" designed to penalize teammates who grief their allies. Today's patch adds further parameters in activating the feature and makes a number of balance tweaks. The patch makes it so that continued chip damage from another teammate over several rounds will stack RFF points more quickly. RFF activates if you put an ally into a "down but not out" state, but if you revive that player, RFF will deactivate now. There's a bunch of balancing tweaks in the update, too. Breaching torch sounds are easier to hear now when Maverick is making a hole close to you , and the shield's hip-fire cone has increased, to name a few. The patch will hit consoles on July 24.
