I am an educator and a father of three children. I have nothing against home-schooling. Although, it may lead the child to be awkward in social gatherings, but it does not happen all the time. Parents actually have more time to be with their children. I find this news absurd though. I do not have problem with the system since problems come and go but a lot of schools in the world are not safe as well.

@Alfredotongco, i agree with and understand the demerits of homeschooling but I prefer it. In this part of the world, homeschooling is far safer and more advantageous to the child academically.
I think the media, we all have worse things to worry about.
