I ultimately support the NPVIC, but I do have my doubts. It almost feels a bit... underhanded, I guess. I wish we could abolish the electoral college with a new amendment, but that will never happen.

Well, it's not underhanded in the sense that it is the epitome of states rights, right? States can decide how to allocate their EV's and if they say we will allocate based on national popular vote, that's their right to do so as granted by the concept of state's rights.
