VIDEO: A Californian uber driver did more than what is expected from your average taxi driver by saving a 16 year old girl from being sex trafficked. Something which arguably many other drivers might have ignored or overlooked.
Driver, Mr Keith Avila, 34 had just began his part-time shift when he overhead a conversation of his passengers, (2 older women with a girl that looked as though she could have been one of their daughters).
As they travelled Mr. Avila became uneasy and disgusted with what he was hearing, which he described as step-by-step instructions on what would happen at the destination.
After the passengers alighted at the destination Mr Avila rang local law enforcement and began to live stream on Facebook.
His heroism resulted in the subsequent arrests of two females Destiny Pettway 25, and Maria Westley, 31 on charges of pimping and threatening a minor.
The victim a 16 year old runaway who had never engaged in such activity up until that very moment has been re-united with her family.
