I only have 2 cents to contribute to this. I use kodi for the app and tinker with it, I still haven't converted as I usually just stream from youtube, netflix, or daily motion to my phone. I also buy every South Park Season I truly admire, and understand the value of a stream being available when you work flexible hours. So I believe as long as the consumer has the end goal of paying the artist, the medium shouldn't be held as liable for these crimes.
In the case there is evidence that TVADDONS is actively promoting free content that should be paid for, this will likely come out of an email or conversation between admins or devs, then it's an entirely different case than a simple conflict of interest between consumer and rights holder.

If you deserve the dollar you have to spend, the artist deserves the dollar he has worked to earn.
There is a plethora of free media on YouTube, Daily Motion, Live Leak and other media streaming sites. YouTube has a high quality live streaming service as well. It is completely unacceptable to take licensed media without the intention of paying the artist.
YouTube will provide you with very great trailers and examples of licensed media, so once again take the dollar out of your pocket, if you have a right to it, and spend it in the market if you want someone else's property.
I am not the judge, I don't use TVAddons, but I want them to be charged if there is any evidence of copyright infringement. I will note from personal experience, it is reasonable to even make parodies these days our laws allow you to be quite comical if you're trying to make a parody or some kind of recreation it just needs to be about 10% different, that's not that demanding considering 10% could literally be changing the colors and tone of voice it seems.
