Indonesian President Joko Widodo visits Rohingya Camps

Visiting Indonesian President Joko Widodo visited Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar in Banglaadesh. He went to Ukhiyari Jamtali Rohingya camp at around 2:30 pm. He talked to some Rohingya women and children during this time. Several ministers, including First Lady Irian Joko Widodos, came along with the Indonesian President's visit.

Today, at 12 noon, arrive at Cox's Bazar on special airplane. From the airport he came directly to Umkhya Jamtali Rohingya camp. He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Ali Hassan and high officials of the government of Bangladesh.

It is to be noted that Joko Widdo and his wife, Iriana Joko Widdo, came to Dhaka on Saturday afternoon on a two-day visit to see the suffering of Rohingya who fled to the Myanmar army torture in Rakhine state.
