Well, nobody died. But it does look like billionaire casino magnate Steve Wynn has been accused of sexual misconduct among the many other rich and powerful celebs.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, he engaged in sexual misconduct over many years and the accusations are taking a toll on company stocks. The fact that these allegations have been brought to light now does not have Steve Wynn worried at all. He thinks its only happening now because his wife is divorcing him.
Wynn says "the idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous." The company says this report is just reflecting allegations made by his ex-wife in court "in her legal battle with him and the company."
Plus, the WSJ says that they've contacted over 150 employees and former employees and explained that many of them are worried about talking because they don't want to lose any kind of job opportunities. They think that what they're saying is going to bite them in the ass because Wynn has such high and powerful influence over the Nevada and especially in Las Vegas.
The way that Steve Wynn talks about his ex-wife has me suspecting that she maybe trying to stir up some kind of a revenge plot. I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. According to Wynn, she's trying to get a revised settlement of their divorce and it seems kind of suspicious to me that this is coming out NOW.
What happened when Harvey Weinstein was being accused? Did all of the 150+ employees post that #metoo hashtag? Could this just a coincidence that it happened right when his ex-wife was trying to revise the settlement? Who knows. Maybe she didn't realize how much money he was going to make after they broke up and now she's regretting not staying longer to get more money. You never know. People will do evil, despicable things for money.
