Donald Duck, who has not grown up with it?
This cartoon character is known to young and old audiences. I read this as a child already and my daughter reads this weekly with great pleasure. But of course it is not obvious for every child to be able to see.
That is why blind and visually impaired children can now learn about the adventures of Donald Duck in a special edition of the weekly magazine.
Donald Duck in Braille
Braille explains how Donald Duck looks like ('a duck in a sailor suit'). The special weekly magazine contains tangible images, in which Donald, Dagobert and Katrien are embossed so that readers can feel how the ducks differ from real ducks.
The Donald Duck for the blind is not for sale in the store. Children who are members of a library service for visually impaired people can request a free copy there.
