"On March 16, 2012, President Obama issued an executive order entitled, "NATIONAL DEFENSE RESOURCES PREPAREDNESS." (http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/03/16/executive-order...)
This executive order states that the President alone has the authority to take over all resources in the nation (labor, food, industry, etc.) as long as it is done "to promote the national defense" -- a phrase so vague that it could mean practically anything.
The power to seize control and take over these resources is delegated to the following government authorities:"

"Executive Doomsday Order: Obama Authorizes Gov to Seize Farms, Food, Processing Plants, Energy Resources, Transportation, Skilled Laborers During National Emergency
“In a nutshell, it’s the blueprint for Peacetime Martial Law and it gives the president the power to take just about anything deemed necessary for “National Defense”, whatever they decide that is.”
While millions of people have been preparing for the possibility of a catastrophic event by relocating to rural homesteads or farms, as well as stockpiling food, water, personal defense armaments and other essential supplies with the intention of utilizing these preparations if the worst happens, the latest executive order signed by President Obama , makes clear that in the event of a nationally deemed emergency all of these resources will fall under the authority of the United States government."

"The Bible warns of a time when people will have to work an entire day just to have enough money to purchase a loaf of bread. It’s hard to imagine a time when our purchasing power will be diminished to the point of having to struggle just to be able to feed one person"
"The federal government is preparing for the possibility and aftermath of a sudden collapse of the economy. DHS, The Pentagon, FEMA, and other agencies have contingency plans in place."
"The point is there are numerous conditions in play that could trigger a collapse of the US. and world’s economy.
Two other things need to be considered. First, we know that a collapse of the dollar would cause havoc on the world’s financial markets, but would the damage be limited and would the US. be the only major casualty? Second, If the collapse of the dollar sets in motion a global economic collapse, then what would the world’s ‘new economy’ look like? I believe the second scenario is the most realistic, given the fact that the economies of the world are so interconnected.
What does this mean for the future, the world, and the believer in Jesus?
"We know there is a time coming when this whole world’s economic structure will be under absolute control of the antichrist. In fact, the Bible clearly states that this economy will be a religious – economic system. The final seven years of human history prior to the second coming of our Lord (The 70th week of Daniel) will be a time when the people of the world will have to choose between commerce or starvation. Make no mistake about it, the choice is so much greater then simply deciding to partake in or opt out of modern commerce. It actually comes down to a system of worship. Either worship the world leader (Antichrist) as God and be able to buy, sell, feed your family, etc….or stand for Jesus and accept the consequences.
We don’t know if there will be a building of economic crisis gradually into a crescendo of problems that lead into a consolidation of the world economy under Antichrist or if the start of a one world economic system will be sudden. The Bible clearly states that when this economy does exist, it will come down to taking the mark of the beast (Antichrist) on the right hand or forehead in order to participate in the market place."

"Christianity is the most prevalent religion in the United States. Estimates from 2021 suggest that of the entire US population (332 million) about 63% is Christian (210 million)."
