Indian Railways has brought a special scheme for its passengers. Under this, if you book tickets using Bhima App, then you may get a chance to travel for free. The government has made a special plan to promote cashless ticket booking. Under this, Railway has started the award scheme, but its benefit will be available only to those people, who will book railway tickets using the Bhima app. If you pay railway tickets through any other medium than Bhim App, then you will not be able to take advantage of this special scheme of railway.
The first draw of this railway scheme will open in November. The draw will be given to 5 people from the Railway side. These 5 people will be those people who will book railway tickets from IRCTC through Bhima App. These five passengers will be selected through the lottery and they will be given prizes. Under the prize, the winner will get an offer of free travel at the place of his choice.
Soon there will be a major change in the Railway reservation form. For Railway reservation form M is written for men and F is written for women. Soon, the 'T' option is also going to be added in this form. This new option will be for transgender people. In this way transgender people will also get their own identity in the form of third gender in railway reservation. This option will not only be in the reservation form of the railway, but also in ticket cancellation form. Now for the transgender, only the T option will be written, which till date the transgender (female / man) was written.
The Supreme Court has given transgender people the third gender status in its historic decision of 2014. Earlier, only men and women used to be gender genders. After the Supreme Court's decision, in the documents such as passport, ration card, bank form and voter identity card, the option of TG, Other or T for the third gender is given.
