On behalf of the Swedish Committee, this British writer is widely praised, "The writer has set his ideals right, with emotional strength, has connected us to the world".

He wrote eight books, and these eight books were translated into forty languages.

The most popular among the novels of Kazu Ishigura is 'The Reminiscences of the Day' and 'Never Let Me Go'.

Films have also been made based on these novels.

After winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, Kazu Isiguru said in his reaction "I am surprised, I am shocked"

After contacting him on behalf of the BBC after the Nobel Prize, he said that Nobel Committee still did not contact Kazu Ishiguro. He is not sure whether this is a fake news.

"It is a matter of great honor, to win such a prize that make me stand beside the big writers. Those who are keeping me in the queue, expensive writers around the world - it must be!
