I think the large trash is called Gehenna. Hell originates from a hebrew word hades meaning grave. In Greek mythology, the god of death is called hades.

I have always questioned it existence with these questions:

When was it instituted?

where is hell?

If its such a place for bad people, why does the bible account tells us that Jesus went to hell and overcame death and got the key of life?
