Apparently, there's a guy in Montreal that's been fined for singing in his car to the tune of $149.00 (no pun intended). Not to knock Montreal, but it really doesn't surprise me for some reason.
Maybe it's a good thing that hubby didn't get posted to Gatineau or Quebec as a whole, as originally suggested before Ottawa was tossed on the table, because I think that I would be drowning in fines. In the year that I have been in Ottawa and stuck in hours and hours of traffic, I'm sitting in my car listening and singing along to Sabaton (a Swedish Power Metal band).
Don't get me wrong, the Province of Quebec has some good features, but this ...this really takes the cake.
