Google now allows you to go to the museum....in virtual reality!

Now you can skip the art museum and visit from anywhere! Namely, Google has added a 360° museum "walk through" to its Maps and Search. You can also read annotations or zoom in on a high resolution art. The feature is available NOW on desktop and mobile.

That's incredible. Soon we won't need to leave our homes for anything

I see this product as great for disabled people, people who are unable to visit the museum themselves and/or can't afford it. But yeah, it's a scary thought we won't need to leave the house for anything soon.

As with most new technology there is pros and cons to it.

Agreed, the problem is in us. We become slaves of that technology instead vice versa.
