Blockchain just died... all Hail Hashgraph

Blockchain data structure superseded by a new form of data structure/ algorithm​ . Invented by a computer science professor, it's called Hashgraph.

Faster than the blockchain, there is no high electricity​ mining for proof of work. Instead, they use something called gossip and a voting system. Watch the video it gives a througher explanation and has interviews with prof Leemon Baird.

Like all technology, when a more efficient and improved technology comes along, the old technology gets replaced.
Blockchain paved the way for hashgraph. Here is another lecture given by prof Leemon Baird at Harvard.

I've always wondered if bitcoin will hit 1 million USD ?
Now I know, it probably won't ....

Thanks for sharing. I just became aware of hashgraph today. Seems like the answer to the problems facing other blockchain tech. Leemon Baird is one smart guy.
