This is an interesting proposition for you. Would you use a Comcast branded cell phone running on the Verizon network? I ask because Comcast has just rolled out their mobile option to all their customers on a national level. Till now Xfinity Mobile was only available in select areas.

This begs the question, would you use, or switch to, a Comcast mobile service? I mean, they are offering some interesting subscription options here. $12 per gig plan (like a pay as you go deal) or $45 a month for “unlimited” (throttled after 20 gigs of usage each month). The kicker is, there are no additional “line access” fees that Verizon and AT&T like to slip in on customers. That could be a major savings for families maxing out their subscription plans with either of those carriers.
Wifi hotspot service included.
This is a deal sweetener for me as I mostly travel in areas where Comcast Wifi hotspot service is available. So much so that I have literally turned off my monthly phone bill and use Skype for phone calls ($10 a month versus $60). Sure, there are a ton of dead spots for me but with a service like Xfinity Wifi that would be no more as while away from a hotspot I would have service via Verizon.
Great, I will bring my own phone and save.
Um, no, not yet you won’t. Right now, you are limited to about five Android devices and a few Apple iPhones if you are planning on coming over to Xfinity Mobile. This is no good because it truly is an interesting proposition for people like me. Unfortunately, I am not interested in buying a Galaxy S8+ or S7 or iPhone 7 at $500+ (can be broken over 24 payments). I have a budget phone I am happy with (though it is an AT&T phone so it would not work here anyhow).
