Microchip Implants for Employees - The Future Is Here!

in news •  7 years ago  (edited)

Three Square Market, a tech firm based out of Wisconsin is giving its employees an option of implanting a rice-sized microchip in their bodies to control their movement on their campus. For example, it can be used to swipe for access to doors in the building or to buy food in their office cafeteria.

Is it just me, or does anyone get reminded of one Dr. Nash from The Beautiful Mind?

Three Square Market is the first US firm to try out this outrageous idea out. Apparently, the 'embedment' is a smooth process with nothing more than a prick to show for it. The chips basically have tiny barcode sensors in them which would be essential for the aforementioned tasks. The company was quick to mention that this technology would not be used to spy on its employees, but then, in the world of AI and big data, privacy breaches are all too common.

Right and Verizon, Comcast, and ATT all vowed not to throttle content and what happened? Verizon throttled content!

Exactly. The big corporations understand that data equals money and thus, they could never be trusted with such sensitive information.

The prediction 20 years ago when i was a kid, now is happening...i heard this information from our Pastor. That someday, microchip will be implanted on the forehead and the right hand.

A scary reality, isn't it? I wish we stop with trying to convert humans into robots and concentrate more on creating robots that can assist humans.
