US National Security Adviser John Bolton confirmed that the Donald Trump government will send humanitarian aid to Venezuela, without giving further details.
Bolton tweeted the shipment plans on Friday, despite President Nicolás Maduro's refusal to accept help.
"Following the request of interim president Juan Guaidó, and in consultation with its officials, the United States will mobilize and transport humanitarian aid, surgical supplies and nutritional supplements for the people of Venezuela, it is time for Maduro to get out of the way. ", he pointed.
