I'm afraid this was the point of no return for me. I just saw a post from one of the steem heroes talmbout how step 1 to succeed here is buying steem and powering it up.. I don't disagree but I shat all over it and left virtually no wiggle room to counter my runny deposit..
I get that there are those that see 17 cent steem as a steal and are ready to buy in, probably again, but ima gonna be the ghost of steem past speaking for all those that got that marketing money and don't even have the time or desire to laugh at this place.. I'm gonna antagonize anyone that bought into that and is still here telling people to buy and hodl steem. I'm embarrassed to still be here and I had nothing to do with the demise and frivolous ICO crazed dipshits. Today I'm proud to say I've never bought any steem and I'm powering down, leaving myself just enough steem to demoralize any potential new victims that the scheme dream thrives on..

I think that they built a great currency, it’s fast, doesn’t use shitty alfanumeric addresses, no transaction fees and a native wallet great! but not a great product to use it with! I still want to see SMTs and after that I hope they focus solely in on the chain and let the community and SPS build the products

And that also makes sense. It's true as a currency with a native wallet steem has a lot of potential. For me the product has perhaps been crypto 101. It's not organized or efficient but it's there. Even a compiler of subject oriented non shit posts is a product.

Indeed, I just saw the first parody done the day after made 10k 😂. It is a great currency there's just no product to warrant it's use as if yet, except of course for manipulations of the economic incentives that's the product I suppose..

Lol @allasyummyfoods muted me very early in my Steem 'career' for slagging her off about the rewards she made and never gave all her commenters any upvotes but her intro post hit 20k I think. She also buggered off when the price started falling

I'm positive if I'd been here for that I'd still have only made a dollar at most per post.. That's OK my dignity is priceless and it's becoming impossible to engage me in steem battle.. LOL Yeah I noticed as the price went down she slowly went into hiding and now just delegated all that stake to smartsteem to earn a passive income. She's pretty active on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube though, doubt she'll ever come back here! I think anyone who got those major payouts immediately didn't see this as a long term investment.
