I know this seems like a stupid question but today after school my two friends told me that NYU was going to become an Ivy League school. I didn't believe them but since they were quite adamant, I decided to check it out. I didn't see anything online about it so I am asking you people on CC.
I am pretty sure that NYU isn't going to become a part of the Ivy League. After all, NYU is not even on the list of CC Top Universities.
But anyhow, does anyone for sure whether or not NYU is becoming an Ivy League?
P.S.:I also heard that Rutgers University at one point was offered the chance to become an Ivy League University but it refused. Is this true?
