as News..

How common is this practice?

  • Sinclair Broadcast Group ran news stories on a cancer foundation but failedto disclose that the foundation was paying for them to air, the programming was broadcast more than 1,700 times, “either as stories resembling independently generated news coverage that aired during the local news, or as longer-form stories aired as 30-minute television programs.”

LameStreak FakeNews Media.

Ads should now be signed with a blockchain signature saying who paid for it

that's the thing..they weren't running it as ADS..
they were running it as NEWS.

Now I got it.
Makes you wonder how much of this crap is stinking up our daily lives now and how to combat it.

I think it's happening a LOT.
I dunno how best to combat it.

How many times have I called it Corporate news? If the cancer center paid them to run a story, then they did work for a corporation. It just wasn't journalism, or reporting. It was more like a campaign story.

The fine is well deserved
