Watching it spread like bacteria growth on a petri dish, the nextcolony first galaxy has thousands of explorations completed. Many new Alpha planets spawning and many being deserted. Left unattended to others exploit as farms. Perhaps the next few incoming changes allows players to harvest or 'spring' clean some unwanted planets.
Five Spawns

It's been 'rumor' there could be up to five (5) spawning galaxies in the realm of NextColony, in other words, possibly unlimited space rendering such real estate inflationary with advent of faster more powerful ships.
Exploration of 888/-888.
Last week I have send an Explorer v2 to the outer reaches of NextColony's first galaxies. It should be arriving in about 22 hours from the time of this post. Would it be a planet or just a space? My expectation is just a space but there is always a small chance of hope against a high probability of scoring just a blank. If is a space, I might as well lose that ship so I can recover one mission slot back immediately. Yet the capitalistic nature of me yearns for a planet.
My game update
Looting is getting rampant and I can't help it when so many neighbors turn themselves to be resource filled farms! Nevertheless, it's been helping me fast forward my skill enhancements as well as upgrading my first six (6) planets to shipyard level 18 or higher. This means, it's full 'steem' on battle cruisers focus constructions. Dreadnaught will take more than 1500 hours to go, unfortunately.
Bounty
Louie88 organizing the 2nd bounty for a alluring 25% rune giveaway. Rune will help production on any resource specific planet EXCEPT Atmosphere. (Never use Rune on Atmosphere planet irregardless of is Rarity). Check out his post here
I love that map of the Universe! I hope you find a planet out there in deep space!!!

All I found was just space and now I've got to wait 7 days for the ship to return. Wish I could tell it to get lost. lol

Better to wait 7 days than to lose it! Cost a lot to build! ;D

Yes it does use a tonne of resources build and uranium to fly them. For instance this cost me a whopping 211 uranium. Actually time is more important, as resource can be re-accumulate by looting.

211 Uranium!!!??? Just for the flight!!!??? Not worth it. I still haven't built an Explorer II, but when I do, I'm not going to send it so far.
