5 Strange Sports Coincidences

  1. One "Luck"y Man
Andrew Luck is known for being very lucky. But the fact that the logo of his team is a horseshoe, a sign of good luck, makes it very peculiar.
  2. Colt To Bronco
John Elway was drafted by the Colts and opted not to play until they finally traded him to the Broncos. Years Later, when John Elway was GM for the Broncos, he picked up Manning, a former Colt. John Elway's belief was that all colts become broncos. Another interesting is that they are both horses.
  3. Father Day Miracle
Michael Jordan's father was killed on July 23 1993. Almost three seasons later it was Game 6 of the NBA Finals. It was father's day, a very sad day for Michael Jordan. Still, he was able to propel his team to a fourth win against the Seattle Supersonics and a championship victory. He was able to win the NBA Finals on a day that would stay in his mind for the rest of his life.
  4. The Even Success
The San Francisco Giants finally won a World Series in 2010 after not winning since 1950. Then, they won the World Series in 2012 and 2014. They also qualified for the playoffs in 2016. All these numbers are even. But in the years 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017 they missed the playoffs. So they are very successful in the even years and are bad in the odd years. That's pretty odd if you ask me.
  5. The Madden Curse
Starting from Madden 1999 if you'r on the cover then there is more than a 75% chance you will get injured in a possible season ending injury. Starting with Garrison Hurst who shattered his ankle in the second round of the playoffs, many star athletes suffered terrible injuries. Some include Eddie George whose production seemingly suddenly declined, Daunte Culpepper whose season ended just months after the release of the game, Marshall Faulk who for the first time ever rushed for less than 1,000 yards in 2002. Others are Mike Vick, Ray Lewis, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, and Adrian Petersoneye-3448137_1920.jpg
