Which Came First; the NFT Chicken or the NFT Egg???

Do you need a following to sell NFT? Or can you 'Field of Dreams' it; if you build it, they will come?

-seriously, though does anyone know? Or is it another "...chicken or the egg?" conundrum?

I'm asking because I've begun making (and hopefully) selling some of my own. Although, selling NFT seems to to be more like fishing than anyone would like you to believe. You can hang out all day, and still not get a bite!

So what gives?

Obviously the quality of the NFT plays a big role too, so I've included my Opensea link in case anyone would like to give me some honest feedback.

In doing my own light digging I have found a few things that either boost or bust an NFT sale, including;

• pricing it fairly - the most commonly sold NFTs sell for around .05-.1 ETH

• real life rewards - people love perks, and though I've yet to purchase an NFT with IRL rewards, the concept is easy to grasp and properly utilized, would be a great incentive

• your guess is as good as mine! - NFTs are still fairly new and it's really anyone's guess as to which one will raise everyone's interest and which will completely miss.

So, what makes an NFT irresistible to you?

Don't forget to peep my Opensea account and tell me what you think! TIA
