To begin with, Excel Pixel Art is just what it sounds: pixel art created on MS Excel. Sounds ridiculous? Yes, it did when I thought about it for the first time (like many brilliant ideas). But as I explored this idea further, I realized that this actually made a lot of sense. I used to draw doodles and messages as pixel art on MS Excel much before it started doing Excel art, to relax from stress on working on MS Excel. Now, I realized that I could automate doodling on Excel using automation software and thereby create multiple artworks with varying attributes quite similar to Cryptopunks. Hence, I decided to start my own Instagram page Excel Pixel Studio and sell it on my OpenSea collection.
Now the next question that I was pondering was whether people would see any value in these artworks. The points that I considered was that there are very few pixel artists who work on Excel. Few lesser who know to automate tasks on excel. And that probably makes me, AKA Excel Pixel Studio, the only artist to work on automated, mass-produced, pixel artist on Excel. That in itself makes all of these artwork unique and worth holding on to.
