Questions you need to ask yourself before you dedicate your life to loving someone

Love is a serious affair and not a joke. It is something which requires responsibility and seriousness.
Note that before you dedicate your life to loving someone, there are some questions you need to ask yourself to be sure that you are on the right track.

Would I be able to stay alone?
If after asking yourself this question, you discover that you need to love someone before you can feel complete and be whole, then getting into the relationship at that moment may not be the right decision for you to make.

Why do I want to start this relationship?
A lot of people go into a relationship due to peer pressure and because they don't want to feel excluded.
Then others go because they need someone that would help them relieve their needs. Be sure to have a sincere reason for wanting to go into a relationship.

Am I in love with myself?
Love has a lot to do with appreciation and admiration. If your answer is negative, then know that it would be difficult to expect someone to love and appreciate you when you don't love yourself.

Am I ready to be in a relationship?
Ask yourself if you are ready to be in a relationship at that moment instead of wasting your time doing the right thing at the wrong time.

In line with this, you need to be sure you are well balanced in every area of your life.

Do I have someone in the past that could affect my future?
You need to ask yourself this question because it won't do you good to enter a relationship still carrying a shadow from your past.

Would I be able to give in?
Love requires commitment and there would be times when you would need to share and consider doing what would make your partner happy.
