This law been passed by the Nigeria legislative arm is nothing but a joke!

"I don't think it is an insult to say a blind man is blind."

It's so obvious that members of the National Assembly are blinded by their quest to just shoot down the messenger without taking a cue from his message's.

And if you hate, what is the punishment for hate speech in Nigeria; You are being condemned to hell! Dead by hanging! What a draconian and archaic law replica of the stone age in the 21st Century!

Until we can collectively distinguished between hate speech and inciting violence; and having tremendous values for human life as a nation we are still walking on thin ice as far as this law is concern!

What are the root causes behind all these hate speeches? Looking at the Nigerian state as a fail state, to hate can be justifiable atimes, trust me people!

How does it sound if I tell you I hated the ways and manners you carry yourself, walking all over the land like an emperor who just don't give a hoot about other people feelings?

How I hated the Nigeria political elites with passion and disdained; for mortgaging the future of every Nigerian youths that are living in abject poverty and wanton frustrations as a result of broken promises by the political class cutting across all spheres of life, faded dreams and aspirations to that of political thuggery and villain?

How I hated the fact that malaria still kills millions year in year out all over Nigeria and Africa at large?

The life of an average Nigerian on the street can be compares to that of a cow been slaughtered at the abattoir; in some cases cows even fair better!

Security of lifes and properties as one of the basic functions of government in Nigeria is zero; talking about the ceaseless communal clashes between herdsmen and farmers, the kidnapped Chibok school girls and the most recent Dapchi school girls kidnapping! Nobody is safe in Nigeria of today!

How I hated the fact that the Federal Government of Nigeria still paid lip services to rapid infrastructural development despite mentioning it in their overbloated budget year in, year out only to come up short with their everyday excuses of Nigeria is broke?

There are too many things to hate about this blessed country of ours called Nigeria than love; so don't force me to love backwardness and mediocrity all in the name of clamping down on hate speech by threatening us all with visit to the hangman den!

We all have a voice to speak out against nepotism, ethnic cleansing, marginalization and mediocrity in the administration of government as a bonafide citizen of this entity called Nigeria.

What the Nigeria National assembly need do is look inward and search deeper into the root causes of the sudden increase in the rate of hate speeches across the land!

There are so much injustices and lack of respect for the rule of laws in Nigeria. The 'US' against them siege mentality is eating deeper into every fabrics of our land simply because that wholesomeness is missing in our genealogy as Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora; we are not united in our thoughts and visions!

We are nothing but just some bunch of splinter cells groups under the umbrella of a charade once called; Niger Area!

I think the time to really talk about the unity of this entity call Nigeria is long overdue!

Let's talk about it all;

Restructuring? Yes!

To stay united with chains and whips; by fire by crook? No!

Nigeria belong to us all; let's salvage what is left of this gun powder waiting to explodes called; Our Fatherland!

So that the sacrifices of our heroes past and present, shall never be in vain!

God Bless Nigeria!
