Motivation
A Nigerian Musician, popularly known as Davido said "My father arrested me when I dropped out of school in the states to face my music career, but when I dropped my first single damiduro, I made him proud and he became my best friend".
The most craziest thing in African countries, especially here in Nigeria, is that after you graduate from the college and you start seeking for a job, they'll request what you cannot provide, like a five years working experience, even if you graduated with distinction.
Let me tell you this, if you don't do mistake in life you can never know where you lack, so if you ever make any mistake, thank God for it, because it will always take you to the next level.
You see, those extremely brilliant student back then in class happen to be the dullest and those whom you think are the dullest will sometime become the richest, smartest, the most important in life, because they think for themselves not for anybody, and if they are wise with it, their thoughts will fetch millions or better still billions for them.
Remember, life can be sometimes ironical.
A gentle man came to me sometime ago and said "My dad is very poor, and he his the cause of his doom, so I want you to please help me talk to him, because if I talk to him myself he doesn't listen, he believes he knows best, which is not so", so I smiled and told him to ask his father the reason for being poor, if he can give a reasonable excuse then he really is smart, but a fool at the same time.
I mean no insult though, but the ages of our fathers have passed, we are in the computer age now, that's why a kid can ask his parent whatever he wants without them shunning him/her, but while our parents were young, they don't dare ask things like that, they only take what they're been given.
A kid told his dad "Dad i want a toy car" and so the father replied, I don't have money to lavish on petty things like that for now, the kid then challenged his dad saying "Dad please grant my request, aren't you working?, Then why are you working?, isn't it because of me?, or do you want me to be like you?".
The father was shocked, he became speechless. Although he felt insulted, but that's the bitter truth
Father's of the industrial age believes they know everything, they argue about every single thing you say and they talk pointlessly for hours, directing you on what to do, telling you how to get successful yet they are poor, if you ever oppose them for just two minutes, they'll shun you.
This is a computer generation for goodness sake, a kids opinion might over power his Father's.
The way kids of nowadays are been brought up is different from our fathers.
Kids of nowadays handle different things, play with different toys, watch different programmes like cartoons, and educative programmes, grow up with tech facilities like smartphone, computer, video game and a lot of technologies that helps enhance their brain, our parents weren't opportune to use this things and you expect us to be same?
What most parent is concerned about is education they believe with education success is inevitable, they keep telling you to read your book. What if you are not willing?.
Bill gates is a college drop out and look at what he has achieved today, that's to tell you that success is not by education.
In fact, some lecturers teaching in college do not perfectly understand what they are teaching to students, they can only deliver the speech, teach the theory aspect of it, but they find it hard to experiment what they teach.
What is the essence of a knowledge which you cannot perfectly showcase, or make examples for people to emulate, that's why most people graduate from school and don't get employed, because they can only talk, and explain how to do, but they cannot physically show how to do.
A Popular Nigerian musician known as Psquare, signed his kid into a popular football club BARCELONA.
He said "what i couldn't achieve, must be achieved by my kids " he wants the best for his kids, yet he didnt just dumb him in one boarding school, instead he signed him to a football club.
If a kid tells his father he wants to become a footballer, they'll see him as a kid who isn't serious.
Why don't you encourage this kids, their dream is the most important thing in life, if its achieved, then they'll be happy forever. So help them achieve it, do not force a kid to become a doctor, because you couldn't become one yourself, or because your neighbor's son is a doctor.
Life is all about choice.
Warren Buffet said "If you don't find a way to make money 💰 , while you're sleeping you'll work till you die".
Education doesn't teach you how to make money.
To be successful, you have to cut out all the distractions in your life.
An education that is not assuring you of success in a country that Educated youths graduates suffers, is a distraction, so cut it out and do whatever you're best at, as long as you are happy doing it, it'll help you rise and its not illegal.
I can assure you, if you follow this little rules you'll get successful.

Always remember, Money is not everything in life, but make sure you make sufficient, before you think of such nonsense.
