The Journey.... Part B

A Must Read

A text was sent, a call was made, a vehicle was boarded. It was a three pronged assault. No room for mistakes this time, everything needed to be perfect.

I had to update my mum on the situation, so I sent her a text saying I was on the way, but I couldn't even whisper that I was still at ground zero, hence the vehicle.

I had to be moving so I wouldn't be a liar in my text, so I boarded a vehicle set for destination unknown. I had a set destination, so I had to make unknown a set of coordinates along my trip, hence the call.

The call was to an old friend, a well traveled one, needed to know how unknown could be a significant step in my journey moving forward.
He was the right person to call.

Unknown turned out to be a cheaper and faster first step forward, but the next step was a bummer.
Unknown had taken me to another state, one step closer to my destination, but the only alternative moving forward was the agency my priestess of a mother had recommended.
It seems she had moved the heavens and the earth just to make sure I used that agency. It was a serious bummer, the thought of the slow trip left me slightly confused. So confused that an observant young lady asked if I knew where I was going.... I did know where I was going, just wasn't thrilled about how I was going and I did get her number, her eyes were to enchanting for me not too. The only plus for using this agency.

Then came the journey, the vehicle not by choice, was the comfortable coaster bus.
I felt like my freshly made stitch (the eyes of the enchantress) to mend my pain, was just yanked of.
Comfortable coaster for me, was synonymous to extremely slow. There's nothing I hate more than to have a comfortable slow trip.

No matter the trip, my comfort level had a 90 mins window.
If the trip was fast and exciting, it counted out slowly. If it was slow and boring, apparently it could only last for an hour, after which, I would start dreaming of ways to teleport or wishful think of switching buses to the faster ones that kept overtaking us over and over and over and over again.

There I was hoping, wishing, dreaming, but nothing could be done, not now, not today. The trip lasted for a quelling 8hrs, I must have lost track of space and time a couple million times just to make it through.
Finally arrived at the destination, and my oh my..

5 years really is a long time
