Good Food, Good Friends, Good Vibes.

So, it’s confession time, I’ve never attended a night market, always wanted to though. Why? The food obviously! This past Friday (20/04/18) I decided it was time to turn in my night market V card and head over to Westville’s new night market held at Westville mall. It’s said to be held on the last Friday of every month, so no you haven’t missed out.

Just so you know, you should try to get there a bit early just because how busy it gets, and parking is a bit of a nightmare, it starts at 5 pm if you were wondering.

So, how was it though? It’s an experience to say the least, it’s pretty much the case of good friends, good vibes and most importantly amazing food! So, if you’re a foodie or looking to cheat on your diet you need to be here.
There’s a wide variety of food available, too much to list, but trust me there’s something to suit everyone, but here are some favourites we tried, you know Korea may have given us Kim Jong Un, but they’ve made up for it by giving us the sticky chicken from Krazy Korean! Yes, it’s pretty damn good. In fact, so good that they actually ran out and we had bit of a wait for our second round.

For dessert we all dug into some deep-fried Oreos and ice cream with chocolate sauce, if you’re looking for some diabetes, look no further, you can get it at a stall called Satis’Fried but I suggest you find someone to share it with like it was intended to.

Other than the amazing food, the atmosphere is amazing, and you’re bound to meet someone you know, so maybe let the side chick/homie sit this one out. The entertainment was great too, with Stone Palace playing their plethora of energetic music, which you get to listen while indulging yourself in the guilty pleasure you’ve chosen for the night, even the kiddies can have a fun-filled evening, with a dedicated play area, which I can’t tell you much about because sadly I wasn’t allowed to play in it.

Like I suggested at the beginning of this post, there’s a large variety of food and beverages to get through so it can’t be done just in one night, but that just gives you an excuse to visit the market more than just once! Hope to see you there next month.
