Having been here over 4 years now I have some idea why.
The first things I noticed when I arrived were how many people lived in apartments/flats here, it seems around 90% of the population, the second thing is homelessness, I have yet to see 1 person as yet.
The next thing I noticed was the lack of big corporations here, they tend to stick to the west, like some sort of disease that is hard to cure.
Then we get onto differences with regards to government and the way the tax (force you to pay) works here.
In the UK if you drive a car, you pay a yearly amount of road tax, running to $100's per year and more for hgv's. That was supposed to fund the now crumbling and pot holed road repairs. Here there is simply a small tax on fuel, the more you use the more you contribute towards road repairs, it works, use no fuel - pay nothing towards roads. In the UK extra tax is applied to fuel also, so you pay twice and get less.
property is another thing taxed in the UK, this time to fund the local council (government for your area), this runs into $1000's per year also, here you pay $0.
The government here charges 23% value added tax to all purchases you make, the UK last I checked was 20%.
I can claim all that tax back every time I leave as I am not a resident, so for me it is tax free.
Corporate control in the west!
With so few corporations here, and very little "big" manufacturing plants, they "corporations" have no control over the government like they do in the west. You may note in countries like Germany, and the UK, these corporations have headquarters, so governments have to agree to do things like they have done "fact". Like end permanent contracts for employees, force in government minimum wages so the corps can pay less to people, leaving the government to pick up the tab for topping up wages, here it simply has no place to exist.
The only logical reason I can conclude by government agreeing to get rid of these workers contracts and rights, and then having to pick up the tab of topping up wages, is the "flexibility" of labour they call it with these zero hour contracts, makes working even a few hours a week, make people disappear off the "official" unemployment figures, making it look like more people are in work than really are, full time employment at least. So the feel good figures of low unemployment rates shown in the news in no way reflect reality of life as it really is.
The Polish refusing Angela Merkels undocumented mainly African influx of young males makes zero sense here to comply with, unlike the rest or the west, there is simply no need for a flood of the next cheap labour for corporations. With so little big corps here you see, they can not force Poland to comply with this nonsense.
Due to Poland refusing to take Africans and those not of "refugee" status, there is some media fed lies that there are no refugees here, well I can prove without doubt that is untrue, as not only have I met Syrian refugees, I count them as friends, they are happy here, though looking forward to the end of the war to return home, they study at college or universities, they work 2 or 3 jobs, they are very much the "asset" that are welcome here, so do not believe the msm presstitute lies.
So what is the real problem in the EU then?
Crony capitalism works well for corporations to take a grip on a country, they can lobby and coerce the government into anything they want, I have for many years suspected corporations run the world, not governments, and this in a way very much proves it, for without them government is more free to do as it wants, not as the corps want.
Now do not get me wrong, I am still not for big government either, smaller is better in my eyes, and that brings me onto other aspects of this whole situation.
False flag terrorist attacks, how many have Poland had? zero 0 not a single 1, why? nobody lives in fear here, the local police have always been armed with a pistol, how many times do they shoot people or citizens per year? 0 per year is the latest figure I found.
My local police men sometimes do odd jobs for me, welding or car repairs, sometimes they just pop round for a cup of tea, imagine that in the west, I think not. In the UK some police openly state they work for a corporation when policing high streets, and fracking protests. There are many videos of this on youtube, so I am not going to bother putting one here. Misguided loyalties you see, they forget that by law they are supposed to protect & serve people now, in the west.
Deliberators verdict = Hope this clears up some popular misconceptions.
Have a perfectly pleasant week ahead, I am off out into the fields to do some much needed weeding and watering, tis a drought here you see.

That is a great article and I am glad you shared it! Bottom line is you are quite happy living in Poland, is that right? It is very educating for me though as I live in the U.K. And sometimes I do face issues, which back in Bulgaria ( my homecountry) are dealt with in a different way. Well no doubt corruption in Bulgaria is the biggest issue but overall government and legislation I found very similar to Poland. My question for you is: why do you think so many Polish people come to the UK then? Is it just money or is there something else?

I love it here, as I set myself free from "having" to work just to pay the bills, and for me freedom to do what I want when I want is a massive goal achieved that took over 30 years of work to achieve.
And the answer to your question regarding.
Is economics, now you I dare say note how most Polish live in the UK, I have 100's of Polish friends there, and worked with 1000's more in the UK. They "most" of them live 5 -9 people to a house, they rarely socialise unless visiting other Polish people, they work damned hard, save money, and come back to build houses here, it makes sense, as the wages are low here, though so is buying food and drink, as I dare say you know.

Great work as always @deliberator and I think you hit the nail on the head .. these multi-national corporations are akin to a disease that drains the life and ingenuity from the countries they attach themselves to .. a corporate tick! .. Poland becomes more appealing with each passing day!

Cheers dude, yes a weekend sounds great .. plus I'm very interested in the Polish wilderness :) In regards to the tooth, they killed the root and I have to go back for root canal. The throbbing has gone down, I'm still dosed on painkillers but they at least seem to be working! The last few days have been some of the most painful I've ever had, so I'm hoping to get back to normal asap :) Thank you for asking.

You know what amazes me bud? Poland sounds a lot like Kentucky USA, the place I'm moving too. Going from New England, which is increasing more like old England imho, to a land locked; mountainous region where the government is small and taxes are low sounds like the perfect plan:)

Really interesting to read about Poland, especially that it still has characteristics of a sovereign country. I was personally very happy when they told the EU politburo to go fuck themselves about this nasty mass migration business. Good for them and good for Hungary too. There is a huge difference between the soft conquest by young male migrants claiming a caliphate and stolen pussy in the West and bona fide refugees who seek to contribute until one day they can return to their country. Unfortunately a lot of people are blind to it or too chicken to denounce it. I have witnessed the cancerous spread of the EU corporatocracy gaining a terrifying momentum in Western Europe especially in England and in France. I have been praying for the demise of the EU and NATO (as an atheist it says a lot) and for our countries to reclaim their sovereignty. One blemish on the Polish front: the 2 billion they are willing to shell out for a US military presence. I know their history doesn’t make Russia a great favorite, but in this instance they are striking a deal with the devil.

Cheers my friend, they had no choice with regards to the 2 billion and agreeing to a base also, as they would not be allowed to be a member of NATO as I understand it from the press here. But and a big but, even though there are EU sanctions against trading with Russia, I know as fact that Poland avoids it by sending goods to Belarus, then it goes to Russia, so they are having the cake and eating it, also maintaining ties with Russia, when they were clearly told not to.

Yes indeed. For instance a 1 bedroom flat in London can fetch over a million of them £'s for that amount here you could even by a few hundred acres of land, and build a bloody village lol. :-)

You have me thinking about looking into Poland as a possible place to move to. Poland sounding much better then here in Australia. What is the price of fuel for cars like there? Thanks.

You are not alone lol, a lot of people arriving here lately from abroad.
Fuel is cheap also, petrol is 4.5zl a litre which is 90 pence, a pint of lager in a bar is the same price.
For £10 3 of us eat out, including a bottle of red wine and soft drinks for my daughter.

Uk passport suffices, not that I have one any more, I just show my drivers licence and they assume it is my ID card, as it looks like theirs, and they can travel with that ID alone around the EU without need of a passport.

I was so distrubed, though, to see your government represented at Bilderberg this past weekend. This never would never have happened had that plane not gone down near Smolensk several years ago. THAT GOVERNMENT was a true populist, Poland-first government, and so they had to go....

There as been 3 attempts to kill this one, Beata, she has had 3 close encounters with cars hitting her limo.
And I had no idea any of them had attended that secret not secret - secret group that says they are willing to talk yet say nothing.

BUT...you don't don't get invited to Bilderberg at all unless you are FULLY VETTED and they know you are also a dyed-in-the-wool globalist.
Let's hope they got it wrong this time...

Well with the term globalism comes a few different interpretations yes? 1 being.
I would suggest that a Polish contingent would fit the bill regarding the latter 2 categories.

Globalism as used here in the USA means one thing....doing away with national boundaries and sovereignties and putting all power in the hands of a world government.

Such a cute idea, though did the morons that thought the NWO bs up never consider Asia even? as there is not a chance Thailand, Cambodia etc etc etc would agree nor would China, and many other countries, the pipe dream comes from a minority that are always scared that they will be wiped out, and we all know who they are, they can choke on the idea and plan. Have a superb day.
